The Superdome is a regular host for the Final Four, Super Bowl and SEC Tournament. New Orleans, because of its unique culture and never-ending party, is always at the top of the list of cities to host major sporting events. ![]() New Orleans is also host city for the best bowl game in college football, the Sugar Bowl. The homestate LSU Tigers are the other big fan favorite in New Orleans and even though they play their home games 80 miles away in Baton Rouge, a big LSU game feels like a home game when you are in New Orleans. Who Dat Nation is passionate about their Saints and turn up in huge numbers to cheer them on the Superdome. New Orleans has two major professional sports teams: the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans. From Bourbon street to the French Quarters New Orleans is overflowing with events for all ages leaving visitors hungry for more, including the Louisiana cajun flavor that can only be found in the NOLA. The Crescent City constantly shows it's unique character and ability make everyday in NOLA a great day. Whether it be at Mardi Gras, the Jazz Festival, or a home game for the New Orlean Saints, no city in the world competes with the culture and history of the Big Easy.
